Settlement Funds- Long Term Business Category!

The principal applicant who applies for a work visa under the Long Term Business Category must meet settlement funds requirements, alongside meeting the investment funds requirements. The applicant must have sufficient money or assets to ensure maintenance and accommodation of himself, as well as that of the accompanying family members (partner and dependent children), included in the visa application.

Before the principal applicant is granted a work visa, he has to provide adequate evidence to support his financial status as to support the settlement and maintenance needs of his family. Evidence for this matter may include the following:

  • The principal applicant must possess adequate cash; OR
  • He must have Kiwi bank accounts that consist adequate current balance; OR
  • He must possess adequate travelers’ cheques; OR
  • The principal applicant must have enough bank drafts; OR
  • He must have recognized credit cards with ample credit.
