Sham Marriages will be curbed by UK Church and UK Border Agency!

Practices of sham marriages will be no more be possible in UK as UK immigration department and UK churches will act together to curb this illegal immigration practice.

Now the visa applications and applications of proposed marriages will be inspected by imposing stringent measures. UK churches will stand together with immigration officials helping out them with sham marriage approval and inspection.

Sham marriages have been one of the prime visa and immigration abuse of UK immigration policies. UK government is determined to eradicate this illegal practice by migrants to benefit them with easy visa approval and permanent residency in UK.

The House of Bishops will issue the latest guidance to be followed by the clergy and immigration officials as suggested by new reports. Immigration Ministry has backed the reports and agreed by UKBA officials. It is being advised to clergies not to propose published banns for marriages relating to non-EU citizens.

Now, the couples have to apply for a license that will be common, have to provide ID proof and address proof as well as swear affidavits regarding marriage. Later on, the couples have to take marriage homework classes and visited by the cleric. If cleric is unsatisfied and did not find a genuine intention to marry then the couple has to clarify to the official whosoever responsible for approving the marriage. Also if a couple insist to cleric to read banns rather than opting for common license then the cleric will report to legal officials.
