Sheikh Denied Australian Visa!

Iranian Sheikh has been ordered a deportation after the Immigration authorities in Australia have found him as a danger to the nation’s security levels.

Sheikh Mansour Leghaei was denied a PR status in Australia. In addition, the country has also challenged the request made by the UN by commanding his deportation earlier than the UN could evaluate his denial.

Also, Immigration Minister Chris Evans denied commenting anything against his immigration status and the decision imposed by the ASIO. However, the minister has confirmed that his spouse Marzieh Hosseini and kid Mohammed Ali Leghaei, have been given the PR status.

Sheikh was fighting a legal battle since last thirteen years only to find that his appeal has been denied in the end. The worst part is that the Sheikh has never been acquainted as to why ASIO (the Australian Security Intelligence Organisation) ordered for his deportation or considered him as a threat to the country. Now he has been allotted a period of six weeks to leave the nation.

It was in the month of April when the UN’s Human Rights Committee made a statement that it will consider the Sheikh’s case for human rights. But Australia went on to challenge the UN’s statement, commanding deportation to him.

The Sheikh has been left with plenty of questions to be answered. It is not justified to uproot someone from an already settled base, ordering him to leave his clan behind in another country.

Many believe that he has been denied a chance for a fair hearing.
