One of the basic requirements for an applicant applying for a New Zealand resident visa under the country’s Entrepreneur Plus Category is to have successfully set up a business in the Kiwi country by the principal applicant. Thus, when an individual is considered to have done that? Let us find out:
- The principal applicant must have set up or purchased or made substantial investment in a existing business in the Kiwi country if the immigration officials have to consider the former has successfully established a business; AND
- The principal applicant must demonstrate that he/she has been self-employed in the business since the time he/she has established/purchased/made investment in the business; AND
- The principal applicant is considered to have successfully set up a business in the Kiwi country if he/she has made investment of minimum 0.5 million NZ Dollars in a business; AND
- The business must have generated at least 3 full-time jobs for New Zealanders (citizens or residents); AND
- The business abides by New Zealand’s employment and immigration law.
