Foreign nationals in the UK can now make use of the Super Premium Service provided by the UK Border Agency. However, the service is available for a few numbers of visa categories. As per the service, an UK Border Agency office will give the service seekers a visit at any location as per the latter’s choice in order to process visa applications. Only those service seekers can avail this service who are based in South of England and London. The UKBA official’s visit would cost the applicants GBP15,000, including the fees for dependents. The service has been in force since April 6, 2010.

Super Premium Service calls for certain advantages, such as applicants can have their biometrics registered at any location of their choice, be it their residents or workplaces. Besides, it allows applicants to decide on time and date for the appointment according to their convenience; and normally a case will take only a day to reach a decision.

As of now, applicants of the following immigration categories can use the Super Premium Service in London and South England:

• Applicants who are applying for extension of their Tier 2 and Tier 4 visas.
• Academic visitors applying for extension of their visas.
• Private domestic help applying for their visa extension.
• Visitors in the UK for private medical treatment applying for an extension of their visas.
• Applicants applying on the basis of civil partner of a permanent UK resident.
• Applicants applying for a visa extension on the basis of their UK ancestry.
• Applicants applying as retired individuals of liberated means.
• Applicants applying as individual representative.
• Applicants applying for conversion of their residence permit to a new passport with the help of TOC.
