Himanshu Patel and Girish Patel, residents of Dalpur Village in Sabarkantha and Madhupura society in Kalol respectively, both Indians were recently being caught at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Gujrat for attempting to board a flight to Canada without having valid immigration papers with them.
Both the accused were supposed to fly to Canada for employment. The immigration officials at the international airport stopped them on Sunday and obstructed from immigrating to Canada. They had passports, but without visa stamps on them. This made immigration officials to assume that both Indians were traveling on false documents and they are not genuine visitors.
According to sources, both of them obtained jobs in Canada and they were all set to fly to the country. Even though their job obtaining part seemed genuine, the officials left with the doubt whether they were trying to enter the country on false documents. The alleged rule breakers were later handed over to the Sardarnagar police for further investigation. Before starting off the investigation, the police filed a case against the two. Sources say that the detainees had taken the help of an agent to go to Canada. However, investigation is going on and the truth is yet to reveal.
