The UK Border Agency has put two Indian citizens into their custody from the streets of Spinney Hills locale in Leicester. The men identified as Sarbjit Singh and Ashok Masah are alleged as unlawful immigrants in the UK. Before the Leicester officials handed over the Indians to the nation’s immigration agency, they had been spending their days on the roadside for many months. Now, UKBA is considering deportation of these two persons back to India.
Even though they had been identified as illegal immigrants, who are without proper documents, the deportation is delayed, reason being the ongoing argument between the two countries- United Kingdom and India. Even though one of the men is all set to be sent back to India, the other case is still not solved and has some official complications.
One of the detainees, Sarbjit Singh immigrated to the UK a few years back, where he arranged some work for himself. After sometime he was being robbed where he lost his all identity papers. As a result, he lost his work and eventually became homeless. Now, he has been begging nothing but wants to return back to his country of origin. As for the case of Ashok Masah, the UK Border Agency is yet to reach a decision, since the man in question has not been communicating with anyone.
Reportedly, the Indian immigration officials showed their reluctance before in allowing the two men to re-enter the country, since they do not boast any document that supports their identity. After the refusal of India, they had found their base beside a ventilation system of a factory in the Spinney Hills locality in order to get rid of the cold.
