UK Study Visas Extended!

Here is good news for tens of thousands of overseas applicants who are intending to study in the UK and have plans to enroll themselves in private language institutions. Despite the onslaught on the visa system, overseas students aiming to get themselves enrolled in exclusively English language courses would be able to apply for Study Visa, allowing them to stay in the country for a span of eleven months. The move would be effective from 10 January 2011 onwards.

The availability of this program is accessible to overseas students from outside the UK. Those intending to get themselves enrolled in other courses in the country for longer than six months would need to file application for a Tier 4 Student Visa.

For those non visa-nationals, who would not require a visa to get themselves enrolled in an English language course lasting up to six months, and are intending to study in the UK longer, must file their application for the extended visa.

In addition to this, the essential mandates kept for the Extended Student Visitor Visa are same which are required in getting a normal Student Visa. Not to forget that with an Extended Student Visitor Visa, the applicant is NOT entitled to work in the country, extend their stay, ask for any government benefit or switch into other enrollment in the country.

The operation of the Extended Student Visitor Visa would be scrutinized after its reviewing, that would commence in the next 12 months.
