Update Yourself With Latest Changes To Skilled Migration Pass Mark!

As it is known well by now, the Australian Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) has proclaimed certain modifications to the pass mark meant for the latest SkillSelect Permit. The pass mark for the latest SkillSelect Permit subcategories 189, 190, & 489 now stands at 60 points. Interested aliens first require presenting an expression of interest (EOI) only to be sent an invite to present a submission for the given permits.

On the basis of the claims and the characteristics of the keen immigrants, they are provided with a score against the points test to enable SkillSelect to grade scores with other EOIs. The highest scores are sent an invite to submit a petition for a skilled permit.

The pass mark for existing general skilled migration subcategories 175, 176, 475, 487, 885, & 886 continues to be 65 points. The pass mark for the new SkillSelect visas inspires a bigger range of individuals with the expertise and qualities required in the Kangaroo Land to suitably record their interest in migration.

Allegedly, the said changes have guaranteed that the trained migration scheme is a receptive and demand fuelled scheme even while the basis of the migration improvement package remains the introduction of SkillSelect from July 1, 2012.

For those who came in late, SkillSelect is a fresh electronic service for running the skilled immigration program. The interested immigrants–who wish to reside and work in Down Under, but lack an employer—require completing an online EOI. Afterwards, as mentioned before, on the basis of the claims of their expertise & qualities, they are assigned a score against the points test.
