9,910 Visa applications to bring Temporary Overseas Workers by Alberta Businesses!

Companies of Alberta have applied to bring in more than 9,910 temporary overseas workers just in starting four months of 2011. Canada Human resource and skill development has revealed this encouraging immigration figure of visa application submitted by employers of Alberta province.

The federal government is thrilled by the proceedings as it is a sign of great recovery of the economy of the nation as well as regional parts. It is just the starting of the year and within four months the temporary skilled visa applications are approaching the figure of ten thousand.

Many big projects are under pipeline in the province of Alberta. It was predicted that Alberta will create sound openings for the skilled labor category but the figures are more than what anticipated. The local labor market is getting burned out pretty speedily on these major projects under construction.

Many companies like PCL Industrial Contractors Inc. that is a hand of the construction giant which is involved largely in building the oil sands projects has more than a dozen openings for skilled labors. The company is planning for a hiring spree which will surpass the figure of 350 of past starting next year. According to company officials they are eyeing for 1,000 temporary labors mark starting in 2012.

Companies have started the hiring process to meet the project deadlines as many factors affects the visa processing speeds at regional level depending on the country labor belongs to. That can likely delay the immigration process of labors so that businesses are working to start the process as soon as possible.
