2010 Saw Record Number of Deportations in the US!

Reports say that a record numeral of deportations of settlers from other countries was witnessed in the year 2010 from the United States. Statistics say that 392,862 undocumented foreigners were deported by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement of the United States, out of which almost one thousand and ninety five thousand deportees were convicted as criminals, a hike of almost twenty three thousand deportations as compared with the year 2008. Out of these, eighty one thousand are the ones decked with unlawful records.

The year 2009 saw a total deportation of 389,834 with the motto of having 404,000 deportations in the year 2011. The Secure Communities program was widened by the ICE as a technology which helps in evaluating the prints of the fingers of natives who are detained in neighboring jails with those who are present in the database of ICE and FBI.

Up through the month of November of the year 2009, witnessing one full year of the accomplishment of the program, which had its operations in 95 confinement centers located all over 11 states, the Homeland Security assistant secretary for ICE, John Morton made an announcement that the program assisted in sensing eleven thousand illegal foreigners for various charges including rapes, killings and kidnappings, to name a few.

At present, reports say that the curriculum is having its operations at 891 centers located all over 35 states. A brilliant example in the growth of the program can be seen through North Carolina, which was decked with 13 communities having their participation in the year 2009 and was seen running in 7seventy seven counties as recorded on December 2010.
