In a development, which is likely to significantly increase the appeal of Canada in the eyes of the visitors from Latin America, Ottawa has disclosed its proposed plans to improve its visa application process. In this connection, a concerned minister was quoted as saying that Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) is broadening its visa application center network (VAC) across the globe to boost the efficiency and usefulness of the said process.
Last month, in August, nine VAC offices were introduced across the many nations of Latin America and this includes one office in Chile (Santiago). During the next month, in September, eight more offices would become functional and operational. With the opening of these offices, the number of VACs would increase to 35 across the globe. The concerned minister added that service improvements are necessary and vital towards adding to the efficiency and responsiveness of the processing visas for the varied requirements of the visitors to the nation. She further said that the outcome is an enhanced usage of resources.
Meanwhile, the CIC declared that the VACs offer vital administrative assistance via phone, e-mail and also in person to the applicants. The immigration body went on to add that the job of the agents of the client service at the VACs is to suitably ensure that visa applications are complete, so that cases of unwanted holdups or rejections do not take place, and the aspirants succeed in realizing their dreams related to immigration to Canada.
