Noting the changes made by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) in the past 12 months, Canadian Immigration minister Jason Kenny, candidly, issued a statement on Friday (Aug 24) that such changes are necessary to improve Canadian immigration system and will be continued in future.
CIC has come up with many changes having a clear aim of modifying Canadian immigration policy and also to make the whole system more transparent.
While issuing his statement, Mr. Kenny said that CIC has made a bit of effort to moderate our immigration system, but still lots of changes need to be introduced.
“Government is well aware of economic needs and keen to make immigration system expeditious, faster and flexible, so that we can easily stand by on Canada’s humanitarian commitment,” said, Kenny.
Mr. Kenny’s words are truly influenced by the changes proposed by the government during the last year to improve Federal Skilled Workers Program (FSWP).
Here are some important facts about the proposed changes
- Recommendation to make the Federal Skilled Worker program more effective by selecting those workers who are able to adopt themselves or incorporate into the country’s labor market
