Tasks and Responsibilities
- The applicant is required to provide nursing care to patients before the surgery, during the treatment and after the surgery.
- In addition, he or she is required to assess the condition of the patient and plan accordingly the nursing care demanded by the patient.
- He also prepares for the surgical intervention after maintaining safe and hugeine standards comfortable for the patient.
- The applicant assists the Surgeons and Anaesthetists during the phase of surgeries and other operations, in addition to monitoring the condition of the patient.
- Registration or licensing is required.
- Some of the specializations include Registered Nurse (Anaesthetic), Registered Nurse (Operating Room) and Registered Nurse (Recovery)
Qualification
- The entry level is a minimum of bachelor degree or higher qualification
- In some cases, the applicant is asked for the relevant experience and/or on-job-training.
- Some employers ask for all the qualifications.
