Registered Nurse (Surgical) is the occupation which is present on the ANZSCO list of occupation of Australia. This means that the occupation is in high demand in the country, hence making it beneficial for all those applicants who are linked with this occupation. Also, it is present on both Schedule 3 and Schedule 4, which means applicants eligible for both can apply for either of the two.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • The applicant is required to provide nursing care to those who suffered from injuries as well as those who demand surgical intervention.
  • Registration or licensing is required.

Qualification

  • The minimum qualification needed for the same are a bachelor degree or higher qualification.
  • Some firms mat demand a minimum experience of five years (which may also play a substitute for formal education)
  • In some instances, the employer may ask you to show relevant experience or/and on-job-training.
  • All of the above facets may be required in few cases.
