A Guinean woman with ill son risks deportation!

A Guinean woman, Sayon Camara (https://blog.abhinav.com/guinean-woman-granted-temporary-stay/) who was provided with 11-hour abatement from the facet of deportation in the month of April has recently born a baby boy. She was ordered by the Federal Court that she can stay in the country till the time the baby is delivered. Now that she has given the birth, she is facing serious risks of deportation.

She was pregnant since six months when she was ordered leave Canada as her marriage to Canadian citizen Abdoul Sow was speculated to be done for the purpose of gaining immigration status.

Now, after giving the birth, her child’s health is becoming an increasing worry for the woman. In addition, the issue whether she would have a future in Canada or not, serves another reason for her worry in this condition. Although. It has been confirmed that the newly born child has been born with a heart disorder.

Now the case has complicated further. But her lawyer Stewart Istvanffy states that having given birth to a Canadian boy, it should be apt that she stays in Canada as this would serve as a mutual benefit for both the mother as well as child.

As far as her legal status to stay in the country is concerned, the lawyer has confirmed that the application is still under review by Immigration Canada.
