Australia: 27 workers from Asia have been caught for working in the country in an undocumented manner. The sting was commenced by the Western Australian Police, Federal Department of Immigration and Fair Work Australia.

Reports have confirmed that the workers have been in an illegal manner at an orchard located outside the town. Twenty four people are said to have Malaysian origin while three of them are from Indonesia.

The road block happened outside the WA town of Gingin. Further all these workers were stuffed in two different vans while they were heading towards their work.

Sian Manton, from the Immigration Department has confirmed that there are chances that these workers have landed in the country on a legal manner but currently they are lacking the apt work visas. Some of them even have expired work permits and are overstaying on their visas.

The investigation is going on. Speculations are there that the investigation would further lead to bursting the bubble linked with various illegal labor hire rackets working in the nation and having connections with bodies all over the world.

The identity of that orchid firm has not defined as yet, but it has been confirmed that the company would face a heavy fine of $66,000.workers.
