If you want to apply for Australia Permanent Residency Visa, then certainly Skilled Independent visa (subclass 189) will be a good option for you. The category has replaced the onshore Subclass 885 Visa and offshore Skilled – Independent Subclass 175 Visa.

Once you have received an Invitation to Apply (ITA), you must submit your complete visa application within 60 days, or else your ITA will lapse automatically. Remember, it is important to submit your visa application with all the required documents and within the given time frame.

What are the selection criteria under the Australia PR Visa Application Process?

  1. You must submit an EOI and must get an ITA.
  2. You must score minimum marks required to qualify, i.e., 60.

  5. You must be fluent in English and to prove must submit a language score.

However, to retain the visa, you only have to live in the country for a period of two years, out of the given time period.
