The new measures are meant for those traveling from the mentioned countries, having dual citizenship there and also for and Canadian landed immigrants.

It has been said that these new security checks have come in response to a failed bomb attempt by a Nigerian man on a flight from Amsterdam to Detroit on 25th December 2009. Those who come under the scrutiny of these new measures can expect delays, confusions and other situations while entering the US premises.

Here are those 14countries: Cuba, Iran, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria Afghanistan, Algeria, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, Nigeria, and Yemen.
