Changes in VETASSESS Skill Assessments!

From January 1, 2010, the skills assessment requirements for more than 150 occupations are due for some amendments by VETASSESS, the skills assessing body in Australia. For a positive assessment, it is essential to fulfill the following mandates:

  • The applicant must have a qualification which is assessed at the required level of education in a high field of study to the nominated occupation, and
  • A minimum of one year of relevant experience for all the occupations. In case, the applicant is found to be deficient regarding the qualifications, he may require either one or two years of employment (in other occupations.)

Let me remind all my readers that skills assessment forms a critical facet in the application process as the applicant must clear all the aspects of the assessment for a successful application procedure. Hire an Immigration expert to know more.
