Community-Identified Stream: Nova Scotia Nominee Program!

The Community Identified Stream of the Nova Scotia Nominee Program facilitates international individuals who have maintained long relation with the province of Nova Scotia community and intend to settle in the province forever to immigrate and become permanent residents of Canada. However, alongside, the foreign nationals must be eligible for employments in the province and could contribute to the Nova Scotia labor market.

In order to be able to qualify for the stream, prospective applicants must possess a Letter of Identification from an organization (community) prior to filing applications with the Nova Scotia Nominee Program.

Other basic eligibility criteria for candidates of this category include:

  • Applicants must not be ineligible for any of the remaining Nova Scotia Nominee Program streams.
  • Applicants must be lawful residents of the country where they are residing currently.
  • Applicants must have maintained long connection with in the organization or the community from which the former received the Letter of Identification.
  • Applicants must intend to wish to settle forever in the community.
  • Applicants must possess adequate settlement supports.
  • Applicants must be employable qualities, as well as skills, work experience and training to be employed in the certain work field if required by the community.
