According to the Immigration and Citizenship Department of Canada, two Federal Business Immigration Plans had altered last month. On the Federal Immigrant Entrepreneur Plan and on the candidates accepted for the Canadian Immigrant Investor Scheme, a moratorium was placed. From the month of July 1, this year to 30th June, 2012 the total number of applications limited to only 700. Within a few days, the limit for the Investor Plan was reached. But it does not indicate that it is the ending of Canadian Immigration for Business category. The applicants for Permanent Residency in Canada can opt for the Entrepreneur and Investor Plans offered by the province of Quebec.
If you have experience in managerial post and want to settle down in the Province of Quebec, then you can apply for the Quebec Business Immigration program. When your application will be approved by Quebec, you will receive a Certificate de sélection du Québec. This official document by the Quebec Immigration Authorities indicates that the applicant who is given the certificate has been designated by the province of Quebec. Moreover, when the applicant’s health and security aspects get completed, the Federal Immigration Authorities will grant a Canadian Permanent Resident Visa to the candidate.
The Quebec immigration is basically a two-step process that involves both provincial and federal immigration bodies in the process. The applicants selected by the province of Quebec are fast-tracked at the federal level and are often processed more quickly at the provincial level. However, applicants under the Quebec program can get their Permanent Resident Visa within a reasonable period of time.
