Gordon Brown and His Promises on Immigration

Gordon Brown, UK’s Prime Minister, in his speech in London would talk about a “controlled” immigration in his country. He would also ask the parties to depict a “united front” against those people who obstruct immigration.

In his speech, he will say that all the politicians have the right to speak on this vital issue of Immigration. In addition, they hold the claim to address masses concerns on Immigration issues. He later said that the statement that immigration is “not in control” is in the captive of extremists. The speech would be made with reference to the comment by other politicians that the immigration regulations must be made more stringent! Also, Labour MP Frank Field earlier wrote that it has extremely crucial to make the manifesto pledges rigid.

Gordon Brown, via his speech will promise that Britain would not allow the entry of unskilled workers from outside the EU, in future. The speech will also be arrayed with words that he would create one million skilled workers in the coming half decade which would further decrease the demand for skilled migrants.

The Prime Minister is also expected to urge other parties and organizations not to get involve in high pitched debate on Immigration as it will only make the issues harsher and favor the extremists.

Immigration and asylum issues hold a great relevance as far as the voting is concerned. Therefore the speech will hold a critical facet in the upcoming time.
