The immigration department of Hong Kong had introduced a scheme in the year 2006 called quality migrant talent scheme that  aims to attract bright young people to Hong Kong and providing them with career growth opportunities and thereby increasing the country’s economic condition.

Logistics management generally deals with supply functions that are inbound and outbound transportation management, managing fleet of vehicles, warehouse operations, logistic network designing, management and other service providing. Transportation generally involves public transport or carrying of goods from one part of the country to another .It also deals with packing and movement

Logistic function also deals with customer care and services, production planning, schedule making etc. Logistics and transportation Hong Kong quality migrant program is meant primarily to attract skilled people who are experienced in logistic management as well as transportation facility. The people selected for the program will be allowed a residential visa but they must be employed by a Hong Kong based company or they can choose to be self employed.

The main agenda is to bring foreign work force to increase the productivity and thuds the overall economic atmosphere of Hong Kong. The candidates applying under the scheme of quality migrant talent program must sit for a test depending on their criteria. They are required to pass the tests and by providing the proper documents to the concerned authority get hold of the visa. The immigrant department chooses a selected number of people from among the candidates.

The candidates can apply for a visa for their spouse or children. The duration of the visa can be increased by applying to the higher authorities.
