From a recent global research, it is found that three countries of the world, such as: Australia, Canada and Brazil had the utmost percentage of citizens who viewed immigration with a positive perspective.
According to 47% Brazilian citizens, Brazilian society is getting benefited by immigration, followed by 43% Canada and 36% Australia. A UK and Irish Research Company Ipsos has conducted this survey.
According to the researchers, a highly educated person can view immigration in a positive way. For instance: 60% Canadians with higher qualification say that immigration is useful for the society and it is benefiting the Canadian society to a great extent.
This survey polled citizens of many countries across the world. Among all those surveyed, 80% believed that immigration had increased in their relevant nations. However, 77% Russians and 71% Britons said that the number of immigrants in their countries is increasing in a huge amount.
However, the good thing is that the economic condition of a particular Country doesn’t get affected by the views of people on immigration. Usually, people from the nations with high unemployment have negative viewpoints about immigration.
In order to reduce the job competition, certain countries of the world have made their immigration rules quite stricter. Many people have said that immigration leads towards more employment opportunity and prosperity.
In Australia, there is a huge demand for skilled personnels particularly in the resource industry. Now Canada is also planning to attract more immigrants as, certain provinces and territories of this country is getting benefited from the PNP (Provincial Nominee Program). PNP allows territories and provinces to recommend skilled immigrants for priority processing.
