Immigration New Zealand (INZ) has hired a specialist company called the TTS as an agent for collection of visa applications. According to a recent report, the TTS will charge Rs 625 (INR) for their services for each submitted application, which will be implemented from January 16, 2012.
Currently, this particular company is providing the INZ with Visa Application Centres in Mumbai, New Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Ahmadabad, Chandigarh and Cochin. The main duty of these Visa Application Centers (VACs) is to manage administrative jobs related to visa applications INZ, submitted in both person and by mail.
However, the VACs are only for providing visa acceptance services. They don’t provide any advice on immigration and have no authority on the result of a New Zealand visa application, wherein decision is taken only by the INZ. It is responsibility of the INZ to accept applications from all official and diplomatic delegations from India.
There are certain services offered by the TTS including their visa acceptance fee:
- To check and receive application forms along with supporting required documentation
- Maintaining data for all applications
- Banking of applications fees
- Providing support of call centres to manage enquiries, through telephone and email, regarding the process of applications.
- Provision of visa application guides and forms
- Collection and delivery to and from the INZ branch in a protected way as per the requirements of the INZ
- To return the passports along with other documents to the applicants.
