The new Immigration rules in Arizona are drawing criticism from all over the world. If this was not enough, there are news pieces coming form all over the places that Maryland too is intending to implement the same rules in the coming years.

According to Maryland Delegate Pat McDonough, the new rule would be implemented from next year. He went on to say that the new rules would imitate Arizona’s new regulations.

The regulations in Arizona regarding the providence of authority to police officials to suspect anyone they think is residing in country on an illegal basis are creating havocs amongst the nationals as well. If the same would be implemented in Maryland, one can expect the whole world go against the same regulations.

But the delegate is providing positive comments for the proposed legislation. He said that amendments of these kinds play a great role in strengthening the border and keeping criminals away in a major way. They will also save jobs in the future. He went on to say that the federal government is not doing its job. Hence, the states are going for rigid immigration reform to curb down the inflow of undocumented workers in the premises.

It has been believed that the amendments in Arizona’s laws would lead to racial profiling. But what if Maryland too would be accused of the same? McDonough would have plenty of questions to answer them in brief, just like the latest governor in Arizona is facing!
