Latest Visa Regulations against Both Outsiders & Britons, Allege Critics

Much perturbed over the latest immigration drive of the UK Government that’s allegedly tailored against overseas students some critics claim that overseas students have no desires whatsoever of either hijacking the economy of the nation, or destroying its culture, as widely feared by those behind the latest development.

The critics continue that the students from abroad are not in Britain to suck its welfare system and/or seek refuge. Although the British Immigration Minister appears too happy to receive tuition dollars from the best & brightest, he has no hesitations whatsoever to ensure that such students are thrown out of the country after the period of their studies/courses come to an end. It’s really strange that London does not want bright, assiduous students to stay in the country.

The detractors add that many students arrive on the British shores to return back home after completing their studies. But some students desire to work for sometime in the country before they return back. But London does not seem very enthusiastic about this. Its latest anti-student drive–via the changes made to the British post-study work permit scheme—clearly reveals this intention on the part of the British Government.

Earlier, graduates from abroad were in a position to live for a period of two years and do a job anywhere across the UK. In the changed scenario–in case a student fails to find work by the time the validity of his permit ends–he is left with no options except to depart from the nation even as he also loses the authority to work inside Britain any longer. The critics continue that the time period between the close of the course and the expiry of the permit may be as small as just a few weeks’ time, even as the same is not sufficient to come across workable service.
