Manitoba PNP- Priority Assessment Stream- Employer Direct!

Individuals who have been living and working in the province of Manitoba on a temporary work permit can apply under the Priority Assessment Stream’s Employer Direct category of the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program. The minimum work experience requirement for this category is 6 months. Besides, applicants must also have a permanent/regular employment offer from the Manitoba employers for whom the former have been working.

The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program also requires applicants to have the intention to settle and successfully established in the province. Apart from these, applicants must possess the necessary qualifications and skills required by the job offered by the Manitoba employers. The category also requires Manitoba employers that hire foreign nationals to satisfy the following requirements:

  • Employers must demonstrate that they have tried but unable to get Canadian citizens/PR to fill the job position for which they are hiring international skills.
  • The employment offers must be permanent and regular in nature.

Above mentioned are the requirements for the employers who wish to hire international skills to fill up job positions in Manitoba. Now, let’s have a look at the prerequisites that nominee applicants have to meet, as per the MPNP:

  • Nominee applicants must have a formal permanent/regular employment offer
  • Nominee applicants must possess the necessary work experience, training, skills and the language proficiency that the job offered demands.
  • Nominee applicants must convince the MPNP that they intend to settle in the province of Manitoba permanently.
