According to the people who have been working with Canadian immigrants, this new policy reflects that the existing system is no longer working as it did in the earlier period of time.

This new policy will create a lot of opportunities for immigrants to build social connections that can help the immigrants. Moreover, it aims to employ the support of small and medium sized business owners to provide more employment opportunities to the new foreign skilled workers. Making Ottawa more suitable immigration destination in a host of other fields, such as: from schools to health care and the world of business.

This latest strategy will focus on the methods that can simplify and improve the process of immigration services in Ottawa via a Central Needs Assessment Facility. It will inform the new Canadian immigrants about the process of accessing various facilities in the city.

It also identifies that networking is very important for immigration in Canada which becomes a challenge for the new immigrants migrating to the country.

Latest data shows that every year, almost 6,300 overseas nationals migrate to Ottawa and they contribute 100% on the net growth in the labour force. Apart from that almost 2,700 people migrate to this country as temporary workers, while 2,300 migrate as students.
