New Zealand has signed a Free Trading Agreement with China. The concerned areas on the list for this deal are food safety, science and facets linked with film production.
Prime Minister John Key who recently marked his presence in Beijing says that there is more potential in this deal. New agreements have been announced which would enhance the relationship between the two nations. In addition, it would strengthen the bilateral connection between China and New Zealand.
Talking about the film co-production agreement, the film makers can find a perfect opportunity through this as funds would be made available for national movies. Additionally, aspects of temporary immigration would be facilitated within the two countries.
If reports are to believed, this is the first of its kind deal with China, a deal which is commenced in the direction of movies made for cinemas or television and talks are going on to come out with similar such deal over television co-production as well.
The agreement is a boom for investors who are making their minds to invest in such deal as well as co-productions of these projects. Mr. Key spoke on the issue that the film makers from both the countries have shown their interest in dealing with each other’s cultures and making scripts on them.
