Residence from Work Category- New Zealand Residence!

The Residence from Work under New Zealand’s residence instructions facilitates people with required talent by the Kiwi country; foreign nationals with exceptional talent in art, culture or sport; and people working in areas identified as having absolute skill shortage in the Kiwi country to obtain NZ residence class visas.

Visa holders under the Talent (Accredited Employers) work instructions are granted a residence class visa in case they meet the following requirements:

  • The applicants have possessed a work visa issued under the Talent (Accredited Employers) work instructions for a period of minimum 2 years; AND
  • During the time when the visa was valid they have been employed in the Kiwi country for 2 years; AND
  • They have employment in the Kiwi country with a base salary of 50,000 NZ Dollars per year, in least if the associated work to Residence visa application was filed on or after July 30, 2007 but before July 28, 2008; or 55,000 NZ Dollars per year if the associated work to Residence visa application was lodged on or after July 28, 2008 ; AND
  • They possess full/provisional registration, where registration is needed in order to practice the occupation in which they are engaged; AND
  • They meet health and character requirements.
