The Canada Permanent Resident Visa is basically that important document which allows an immigrantto work and live in the country. However, the status of Permanent Residence comes with some significant responsibilities. If a PR holder doesn’t meet the residency obligations or is found guilty for serious crime, his PR may get canceled. Any individual with Canada PR can apply for the Citizenship of the country after the period of three years.

According to a recent report, submission of passport in the visa office for stamping, which is the final step of Canada Permanent Resident application process, is no more essential for the citizens from the Visitor Visa exempt nations. These applicants will be mailed their documents of landing, once they get the approval.

However, if any individual needs a Visitor Visa, then submission of his original passport to the visa office for getting his PR visa stamped inside, becomes necessary. If he won’t submit his original passport document, then it will be returned to the applicant with his landing documents.
