Ontario — one of the popular provinces of Canada, situated across the eastern-central region of the country — is the most populous, and area-wise, the second largest province of the nation. It is also home to the most populous cities of Canada — Toronto and Ottawa.
In case, you are planning to migrate to Ottawa, Toronto or some other Ontario city, then consider the various opportunities offered by the Ontario Provincial Nominee Program.
The qualified applicants will be provided with the Ontario Provincial Nomination Certificate and it will accelerate the application process for your Canada Immigration Permanent Resident Visa.
However, the Ontario Provincial Nominee Program is basically an employer determined program where the applicants are not allowed to submit an application unless they obtain a full-time Ontario employment offer, or have completed a PhD from an Ontario university which is publicly-funded. This PNP program is a 2 step process.
- The employers of Ontario have to go for the pre-screen process of applications and have to receive the consent for the vacancies they want to fill in.
- When the vacancy positions get approved, the employer must appoint the overseas skilled personnels to fill in the vacant positions. The candidates can then apply and avail of the various opportunities as offered by the Ontario PNP.
