Good news for those residing in or around Pune & Bengaluru and keen to move to the UK immediately! The overseas hotspot’s Immigration and Visa service has reportedly declared an extension of the highly useful Super Priority Visa Services to these Indian cities.
The Super Priority Visa (SPV) service offers visas inside just 24-hours to the visitors, eager to move instantly. The service was initially launched in India about five years back, in 2013 to be precise.
It’s basically an optional service even as it adds to the list of the three cities of India already on the list, namely, Mumbai, Delhi and Chennai. The services enable the candidates to jump the line and his application gets processed the same day, of course in case he has presented every germane paper/certificate and cost.
The service is part of the UK-India Technology partnership, which reportedly targets to set-up ‘tech-clusters’ in these cities of the country. As per the plan, businesses and universities are spotted to offer market access to both nations for business & trade.
Reportedly, the extension of this service is part of a broader package of steps that looks to bring about an improvement in the UK’s visa service, comprising launching greater digital technology in the procedure & extra services for clients.
Of late, a noticeable jump in the figure of the UK Immigration Visas, being offered to the candidates from Indian, has come to light. During 2017, till September, 517,000 aspirants from India received UK Visas.
The figure of the Visit Visas reportedly headed north by a good 11%. Reportedly, the figure of Work Visas stood at 53,000–a figure that still allegedly showed that more candidates from India obtain Work Visas in the UK, vis-à-vis the aspirants from other nations taken together.
As per the information that we have on the subject, India accounts for 66% of the total global UK Visas processed every year even as the highest figure of Working Visa petitions are obtained from Bengaluru.
Sharing his views on the subject, the incumbent British High Commissioner to India reportedly stated that he hailed the decision of the students from India to make the most of the UK’s world-renowned higher education.
He added that the British visa services, for the applicants from Indian, are as good as any other available. Roughly 90% of candidates obtain the visa and 99% of those are processed inside the target time of just 15 working days. He further stated that he wished more Indians to see the UK as their partner nation whether for business, sight-seeing, work or study.
Recently, the incumbent Narendra Modi, the Indian Prime Minister, was in the UK to participate in the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meet (CHOGM). He, reportedly, spoke how the Indian public there brings the nations together during his talks with his British equivalent Theresa May.
The British High Commission has plans to use dedicated personnel and connect with express courier services, to confirm that the 24-hour delivery structure is applied positively. The same reportedly aims to utilize digitized technology to increase the pace of the process.
