Australia Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) serves its main purpose of drafting new visa policies and implementation, and allows overseas immigrants on its land as accordance of the needs of economy. DIAC also takes into consideration of visa planning levels set by the government every year to form the migration program. The main aim of forming a new migration programis to determine the maximum number of visas that need to be granted in every stream.
Moreover, the allocation of applications (applied under the skilled migration program) to a case officer is determined under the ministerial direction, mainly to ensure that priority should be given to the places which require more workers and also the applicants who are quite capable of fulfilling criteria. The migration program also takes precedence over the backlog of the applications, which are yet to be processed.
At present, 4200 visa places have been determined for the Australian Skilled Sponsored GSM category that caters the needs of those who get sponsorship opportunity from their relatives (must be eligible to nominate). Take a look at all the sponsored visas;
