According to a new research, it has been proved that Atlantic province is no longer used as an entry point to Canada. Rather, it is gradually becoming one of the potential places to immigrate and make it as a permanent home on a long-term basis.
In accordance with a study of Statistics Canada information conducted at Saint Mary’s University in Halifax, it has been observed that new immigrants who come to settle in places like Newfoundland, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island fare far more superior than other niche places famous for immigration. The study further elaborated that the East Coast immigrants are facing higher chances of making it big when it comes to working and earning better in these provinces.
As far as the statement by Dr. Ather Akbari, who is an economics professor at St. Mary’s University, is concerned, the provinces in Atlantic have more chances of witnessing new overseas migrants who cater to specific employments, rather than people who just choose the place for a new life. He went on to say that new immigrants who come here to get employment in particular jobs have finer chances of achieving a good market value for their skills as compared to other provinces.
Higher chances of getting good employments are for those people who are engaged in professions in staff hospitals as well as similar high value spots.
