Thailand visa processing center opened in the city of Hyderabad to facilitate Andhra region natives. The visa center has been opened by VFS Global which is a 104 year old Swiss visa processing firm.

The centre in Hyderabad will be accountable for accepting visa applications to process from Andhra Pradesh, announced by the Thailand Consul General. The proceedings were welcomed by Abhinav Hyderabad immigration office as it will save a great deal of time of Thailand visa processing.

More and more Indians are visiting Thailand every year and the figure is mounting constantly, especially from Indian southern part. Maximum number of immigrants is interested in both business and tourism. According to the Consul General, more than 45,000 migrants visited Bangkok from Hyderabad in the year of 2010 only.

The direct and convenient connectivity of Thailand’s all prime cities with Hyderabad and Thai Airways flight operation which is four times in a week have contributed well to the surge in immigration figure form India to Thailand over the last few years.

The Hyderabad visa office of Thailand will save a lot of time as from now visa applications need not be send to other states for processing. Sound figure of IT and pharmaceutical candidates is anticipated by the officials. The operation of the new visa office will start from 6th June.
