Virginia is on its Way to Follow the Arizona Steps!

Attorney General of Virginia Ken Cuccinelli has once again used his position as one of the top lawyer of state to express his opinion on one of the most controversial issues of the nation.  Certain changes are on its way to be included in the immigration laws of the Virginia. It seems that after Arizona, Virginia is going to take some strict measures to stop the flow of undocumented immigrants entering the borders of the state.

For the solution of the problem, a legal opinion was issued on Monday according to which law enforcement officers of Virginia has the authority to check the immigration status of suspected people. But this would also be kept in mind that it should not take long by the officers to check their status to avoid any kind of inconvenience. But there is a difference in the opinion issued for Virginia with the controversial immigration law of Arizona. Unlike Arizona law, it does not give authority to all the officers to stop and check the immigration status of the people passing by but the authority would be given to only law enforcement officers.

In an interview Cuccineli said that the opinion has been issued at the request of one of the lawmaker. The heavy flow of illegal immigrants and the rising crime of illegal immigration have forced the Virginia to take up stricter actions for immigration. But in a statement told to the press, Cuccineli has said that there is a clear difference in the opinion issued and the Arizona laws .It seems that Arizona law is gaining popularity amongst various states in the United States which are facing with many problems caused by illegal immigration.
