What happened with Lloyd Banks in Canada?

Lloyd Banks, the famous American rapper was recently detained in Canada for allegedly robbing a Canadian concert promoter. He was there to perform at the NV club in Brantford, Ontario. According to reports by MTV News, Banks was freed on January 13th and was given the permission to leave for the United States. The dispute was regarding some finance issue after which Banks and his associate were arrested on January 9th, around 5:30 a.m.

The police cleared that Banks along with other three men had a dispute with the show promoter after which they ended up beating him in the hotel room.

Banks earlier posted a bond of $50,000 bond while other three associates paid a bond of $25,000 each, after which two men were given acceptance to return to the US while Banks and Sloane were kept in custody.

His lawyer, Patrick J. Ducharme, cleared that Banks was granted the right to go back to the US on January 13th, after his hearing. Also, Sloane is still in the custody of the Immigration officers
