According to the new Australia “Points System” announced recently, the ‘Irish-friendly’ Australia Visa would make it easier for the skilled workers coming in from Ireland to gain immigration in the land of Kangaroos from July 1, 2011.

The changes would affect applicants applying from Ireland in a major way. In accordance with the new regulations, the government of Australia would take applications from skilled applicants up to the age of 50. In addition to this facet, those applicants having PhDs and high proficiency in the English language would be given bonus points.
