Canada Express Entry Visa

Good news for all those aspirants who wish to make Canada their new home! The long awaited restriction on the Ontario has been removed. With this, the 3 available option of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Programme, i.e., International Masters Graduate Stream, Human Capital Priorities Stream, and International PhD Graduate Stream welcome the wishful migrants with open arms.

To grab immigration through this way, a new application system has been introduced which will undoubtedly provide an improved customer service and decreased processing time. In an effort to qualify maximum applicants, the new improved system has simplified the application process. This stream was closed for the last few months, but now it’s operational and the candidates use it for hassle-free immigration to the Maple Leaf country.

Under this cap, there is an opening for 6,000 newcomers. The applicants applying through the Canada Express Entry Visa Programme may go ahead as the procedure is aligned to the Federal Express Entry. An applicant, who applies through Express Entry, need to meet the criteria of the province, and depending on the details submitted by him, he will be issued Notifications of Interest (NOI).

For those not tuned in, Canada Express Entry is an online immigration system from the Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) that has dramatically changed, and more importantly improved, the manner Ottawa allows the skilled migrants from across the world to move to the country.

One of the most amazing features of this route way is that under the category, an applicant needs to score 400 points under the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). He should possess language proficiency, adequate work experience, education and enough funds to sustain his living in the province, to qualify for the NOI.

Upon receiving the NOI, the aspirant needs to submit an application for the Provincial Nomination Certificate, this will increase his score to 600 points under the CRS making him eligible for the Invitation to Apply (ITA) in the subsequent draws from the Express Entry Pool.

Apart from this option, there is another wonderful choice available to the applicants–the French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream. It’s continuously operational in align with the Canada Express Entry System. The International PhD Graduate Streams and the international master’s graduates are not aligned to this though they may receive a base Provincial Nomination Certificate which makes them eligible to apply to the Federal Government for Permanent Residency (PR).

The applicants targeting the gateway should keep following points in mind:

1. The aspirants who meet the eligibility criteria for above mentioned stream need not apply though an online system.
2. There is no need to submit a job offer for these two streams.
3. Candidates, who have passed out from Ontario University, are eligible to apply under the International Masters Graduate Stream.
4. Candidates from Ontario and outside are permitted to apply under the International Masters Graduate Stream. Earlier, candidates from Ontario were permitted to apply under the class.
