Investigation in Passport Probe!

With immigration fraud being the major source of concern, the recent in the issue has been an investigation as how Kevin Michael Sawyers has acquired a Canadian passport. This is especially when he was deported back to Jamaica.

According to the police sources, Sawyers is 33 years of age and has 6 children. He has more than ten different identities and has now pleaded guilty for the murder of Perry Agyemang. The victim was 26 years of age and was killed outside a Malton banquet hall. He was killed by a stab in the neck. He was charged with this murder in October 2006. Sawyers was deported in 2009.

He was arrested on 14th September by the Peel Regional Police at the Jane St.-St. Clair Ave. W. He was found sneaking unlawfully into Canada by the police. According to Norm English, the Peel Inspector, the keeping his past record in place, he is definitely a risk in the public. More so, he does not have a legal status in Canada and does not even deserve a right to be in the nation.

It has been alleged by the police that Sawyers was using the identity of some Robert Macfarlane. He was using a passport under that name. As of now, investigations are on as to how Sawyers came to acquire this passport. More so, charges have been imposed on him by the police for owning about ten drivers licenses while he was arrest. Most of these licenses were from the United States.

After pleading guilty, Sawyers has been sent to four and a half years of imprisonment. This was after he had served for four years and two months in a pre-trial custody. He was then subject to deportation in 2009 after he had served a term of four months of the above sentence.

According to the Anna Pape, Spokesperson, Canada Border Service Agency, charges under the Criminal Code has been levied on Sawyers for his illegal return to Canada. He would also be subject to serving some time in prison as well. The same offences were charged against him under the immigration laws as well.
