An ex New Zealand student committed that he is still not able to understand as to what exactly came into his mind when he killed his wife brutally. Blazej Kot, the accused has been sentenced to an imprisonment of twenty five years. He was said to have slashed his spouse’s throat and killed her to death in a US park last year.
The culprit grew up in New Zealand and was enrolled at Cornell University. His wife, Caroline Coffey, 28, was enrolled at the Ivy League school and got engaged to the culprit just few months before she was stranded to death.
The irony is that a few hours ago, the victim was posting her cherished wedding memories on the internet when the husband killed her brutally. After killing her, he went on to thrash his own throat as well.
He was accused of second degree murder in April. In addition, he was charged of tampering with evidences for hiding the proof of killing his wife and torching the apartment for the further destruction of the proofs.
Kot’s lawyer has provided the evidence that the accused has been suffering from mental disorder. After the announcement of the sentence, Kot said that he loved his wife and believe that his further treatment would allow him to recover from his disease, a disease which ked him to killing his souse.
His history said that Kot had Polish parents in Zaise and he immigrated to New Zealand along with his clan. He then moved to Cornell after getting himself a Student Visa to continue his studies further.
