Both the countries are multi-cultural, and remain top destinations for immigrants attracting thousands in number annually. To attract more skilled professionals, and to meet the shortage of trained experts, both the destinations have separate immigration programs. While Denmark has the famous and widely sought after Danish Green Card, Canada has a Federal Skilled Program that, as per 2014 list, consists of 50 in-demand occupations.

The only drawback while choosing Denmark over Canada is language. The majority of the people speak Danish and before immigrating you need to be rather fluent in Danish, whereas Canada is a multi-cultural country with the uniqueness of holding two languages as official language–English and French.
