Application Filling Procedure with DIAC Australia under SkillSelect Program

The much talked word SkillSelect is introduced as a major change in Australia immigration program – mainly serves its purpose of facilitating the skilled workers – keen to migrate to Australia. Being a new online service, the SkillSelect program lets workers lodge their all the details required for a skilled visa through EOI (Expression of Interest).

Once after completing the entire procedure, the intending applicants are entitled to be called for the Visa under the skilled visa program by Australia government, state and territory. In fact, the applicants could be invited by Australian government to file a visa application.

After July 1, 2012, it is mandatory for all the applicants who are interested in skilled migration or point based migration, innovation program or business investment – need to submit an EOI and also to receive an invitation to file a visa application. The main purpose of introducing the SkillSelect program is to target those applicants who are capable of fulfilling the vacancies in several occupations.

In other words, the new SkillSelect can be concluded as online tools that catalyze the Australia immigration program by reducing the time required to process visa. Those applicants who are interested to apply for the said program need to make sure that they have already submitted their EOI first. Although it is not a visa application, providing important information is quite necessary.

Thereby, the applicants are suggested to go for a factual information preparation before submitting their expression of interest. Even if you have invited but not selected, still you have right to update your EOI for 2 years.  Submitting the EOI is however an easy task and also free of cost – the applicants can submit their expression of interest even without providing any supporting documents.

But, they need to make sure that the information has been provided adequately and free form any kind of double meaning or ambiguity.
