Canadian Ontario Will Continue Proffering Express Entry Invitations to Applicants

Great news for those eager to move to Canada permanently under the Provincial Nominee Programme (PNP) path!

According to a report, of late, the Canadian province of Ontario issued invitations for the provincial nomination to 95 lucky applicants, who had submitted an application, via the PNP path, under the EE framework, and through the French-speaking Skilled Workers and Skilled Trades categories. The latest rounds of invitation reportedly occurred on May 2 and May 3 even as these are reportedly the fifth rounds conducted by the province in the stream since the month of March this year.

As per the available information from the concerned authorities from the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Programme (OIPNP), the 59 Express Entry applicants who received invites in this round through the Skilled Trade Stream are required to present their Express Entry profile from January 1, 2018 to May 2, 2018; and the 36 candidates sent invites, via the French-speaking Skilled Workers Stream, need to present their profile from January 1, 2018 to May 3, 2018.

No Need of Minimum CRS Score

The USP of the development is that there are not any requirements whatsoever of any minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) total for any of the discussed categories.

Reportedly, since the starting of the present year, Ontario has doled-out nearly 604 Notifications of Interest (NOI), via the Ontario Skilled Trades Category, and 420 NOI, via the French Speaking Skill to Worker Category. Since the beginning of the present year, the province has offered 2587 NOI to the Express Entry candidates, through the Human capital Priorities Category.

Province to Offer Notifications Regularly, Applicants to Submit Petition inside 45 Days

As per the available information, the province will keep on offering NOI to the applicants in the Federal Express Entry Pool, in the process, making certain that they make the cut for the Ontario Express Entry Streams often.

Usually, the Skilled Trade Category is earmarked for the trained workers with valid Express Entry profiles who have experience in qualified skill trade, and who make the cut for the Canadian Experience Class (CEC).

During 2015, the French Speaking Skilled Worker Category was reportedly keeping those French Speaking Express Entry applicants on radar, who could make the grade for the Federal Skilled Workers Class and the CEC, and who also had adequate abilities in the English language (CLB 6 or more).

Ontario has fixed exclusive prevention requirements for the said two categories.

The Express Entry applicants, who obtained NOI from the province and also obtained provincial nomination, received 600 extra CRS points. Thanks to these extra points, they will be in a rather good position to get an Invitation to Apply (ITA) in the Express Entry Draws conducted later.

Further, the Express Entry aspirants who received a NOI in the invitation round held lately have 45 days from the date of issue to present their online application to the OINP. The first crucial step, to pursue one of the Ontario Express Entry link Categories, is to present a profile that’s 100% complete to the Federal Express Entry Pool.
