Eligibility Requirements for Skilled Worker Applicants: New Brunswick PNP!

Below are the eligibility requirements that applicants who wish to immigrate to the Canadian province of New Brunswick under the category of Skilled Worker with Employer Support are expected to meet by the New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program. Let us have a look:

  • Applicants must have a full time, regular employment offer in hand from a New Brunswick employer.
  • Applicants must receive the employment offer from an area where there is skill shortage.
  • The employment offered to applicants must meet the province’s employment standards.
  • Applicants must possess the required qualifications, as well as the license to work.
  • Applicants are expected to meet the language ability, either in English or French.
  • Applicants must score a minimum of fifty points on self-assessment.

As far as the Skilled Worker with Family Support category is concerned, eligible applicants for the same include:

  • Son/daughter
  • Sister/brother
  • Step-sister/step-brother
  • Step-son/step-daughter
  • Sister-in-law/brother-in-law
  • Niece/nephew
  • Grandchildren

Before nominating applicants, the New Brunswick PNP conducts an assessment of both the applicants, as well as their family supporter(s) in the province.
