Visa Procedure Change, No Manual or Typed Applications Any More!

The Indian High Commission in Wellington has announced the operation of online visa procedure starting from 30th May. No more manual handwritten or typed applications for visa will be accepted after 30th May 2011.

All visa candidates required to submit applications to the High Commission only by online mode for all visa permits. The applicants have to access the government’s website to apply online. The candidate needs to submit the online filled application’s printout to the High Commission along with specified documents for visa approval.

Properly filled online application form can be submitted to the office of the High Commission. Applicants can also courier their application to the High Commission office.

General visa document requirements are

  • Duly signed and completed online visa form
  • Valid Passport for a minimum of six months
  • Proper payment mode of visa fees as personal or company cheque or credit cards are not accepted.
  • One latest passport size photo
  • Required supporting documents
  • Application of business visa required business dealing proof or a letter from Indian company.
